Easy Tutorial How to Play Resident Evil Outbreak Online on Your Pc 2018 Update

Online

Much of the experience of Outbreak is the online game. While the Scenario walkthroughs here are written for those players tackling the game offline, they will work (despite some item locations) for online groups as well. But there are some additional pointers you should take into account before heading to the network.

Play the Offline Game First
Here's what you shouldn't do... go home, tear the cellophane off of your game, and fire it up online thinking you're going to dominate. You will be useless to your team, and frustrated by the experience. Take some time learning the game by playing it offline. Get used to the controls, the item system, the communication and the various characters before even attempting to set foot online. In fact, it might not be such a bad idea to beat the game entirely before taking your game to the information superhighway.

Communicating Online...
...Can be difficult, due to the fact that Outbreak supports neither voice or keyboard. Knowing the game and the levels comes into play here. The more you know about each Scenario, the easier it will be for everyone to know what their role is, making communication less necessary.

If you need to communicate something specific to a teammate, you can use the normal controls used to talk to teammates in the game. If more than one character is in a room with you, preface any command with the player's name. Don't tell characters things too many times, as online players do not like to be nagged. Use the "Come!" command if you know where you're going and need someone to follow, or if you need to hand over an item. Use the "Help!" command if you're overwhelmed, or if you need a hand up from a ledge, etc. "Go!" is fairly useless online.

Share and Share Alike
Do not hog weapons and ammo, or recovery items. Everyone needs to protect themselves, and the team as a whole will benefit if items are spread around. A good rule of thumb is for everyone to have one weapon, one ammo refill and one health item at least. This leaves one spot for an extra item, or quest-type item. If a player gets dinged up and needs a healing item, and you have one (that you don't currently need), share with that person. The same is true of ammo. Don't give over stuff that you absolutely need, but try to keep your whole crew happy and healthy, and you'll benefit in the end.

If you notice a player being reckless or playing poorly and using up resources unwisely, keep track of that behavior. It's okay to deny people items if you think they're going to use them improperly or waste them. Likewise, don't ask for items unless you absolutely need them. If you're sitting on three Herbs and asking for a First Aid Spray, your team isn't going to like you much. Use your head, and try to think of the team, and share whenever it's possible and smart to do so.

Play to Your Character's Strength
When you're playing online, pay special attention to the character you choose. Everyone will look to certain individuals to do specific jobs while playing, so keep that in mind. For instance, don't play as Cindy and not expect to heal some folks. Here are the things you should do as each character to help out the squad:

  • Alyssa: Use your lockpick to open doors, and get hidden items that can only be reached with the pick.
  • Cindy: Heal. Cindy's Herb Case should be open to the public... and make sure you mix Herbs for better effect. To heal someone, call them over by name, and use the Aid function from the Herb Case to heal. Or you can Present a Mixed Herb to someone for them to take it.
  • David: Since David is able to make his own weapons, refrain from picking up Handguns, or turn them over to someone else once you find the ingredients to make one of your special weapons. If you break agun, hand it to David and he can fix it.
  • George: The doctor is also a healer. Grab the Herbs and make them into medicines, then dole them back out to your teammates. Don't hog health, or you won't be asked back.
  • Jim: Jim has the ability to see all the items, so use him to find extra gear for the team.
  • Kevin: Should be the point man in combat. He's strong and strapped, so he should always be the first one through each door.
  • Mark: Also a quality combatant, Mark should use melee weapons to bust zombie skulls on the front lines with Kevin.
  • Yoko: Yoko is the mule of the group. Since she has more item slots, use her to carry miscellaneous ammo and healing items that others cannot carry. Don't horde items, though... turn them back over when they're requested.

Help Teammates in Trouble
In combat, it's pretty likely that someone's going to get chewed on once in awhile. If you see a buddy getting hurt, or in a clutch with evil forces, run over and provide some assistance. Shoot zombies, or hit them with melee weapons to create separation. If you have no weapon, go provide a shoulder charge or kick. Do not leave players behind to die, and if you have an opportunity to help, do it!

If another character falls down, help that person to their feet, and if you have it, give them a healing item to restore some spring to their step. As we've already stated, keeping your whole team around is the way to score the most points.

Playing as a Zombie

If you fall prey to evil forces, you will have the unique opportunity online to play as a zombie and turn the tables on your former team. This is a fun little side-game, but be careful about it. You'll want to b
e somewhat political about your zombie tactics. Don't go too hardcore after players who helped you along the way, as you might have to play with them again. Instead, attack those who weren't particularly nice to you, or don't attack at all. True, zombie play is part of the game, but it can still lead to hard feelings if you continually impede your team from finishing a mission.
